Creating your account

After launching TeamSpeak 6, if you don't already have a myTS account, click on "Create Account."

You'll need to:

1. Pick a username
2. Enter your email address
3. Choose a secure password
4. Click "Create Account." You'll receive a confirmation email. Follow the unique link in your inbox to verify your account.
5. Once verified, your myTS account will be created. Click Continue to proceed.

When ready, confirm you've saved this and click "Continue."

You should now see the TeamSpeak client for the first time. Welcome!

Servers are where real-time voice chat happens; your home base for talking with friends, teammates, or your wider community.

To connect:

1. Open TeamSpeak 6.
2. Go to Bookmarks → Community Discovery (look for the 🔍 icon).
3. You can use the search bar to explore available servers, then simply click on one to join.
4. You're in; jump into a channel and start talking.

TeamSpeak isn't just for voice. Stay connected through direct messages and group chats, built with the same focus on privacy and performance.

Here's how:

1. Add a contact: Click the Contacts tab and search by username or ID.
2. Start a chat: Select your contact and start talking.
3. Join or create a group chat: Bring multiple friends together in one space to coordinate, share updates, or just hang out.
